The built-up area of the ZAEZ is increased by at least 10 km²each year since its establishment.Garden Expo Park,Yuanling Ancient City Park and Shuanghe Lake Central Park,with a total area of about 4 km²are open to the public.Centered on the above parks,the ZAEZ made a planning of a comprehensive green system.The planned green space is about 121 km²with a green rate of 291%.As planned,the South-to-North Water Diversion watercourse, Xiaoqing River and the protective green spaces by the rivers form the ZAEZ's blue-green network skeleton.Water systems interwoven with green corridors,the future ZAEZ will be one of the most eco-friendly areas in Henan Province.By the end of the"14h Five-Year Plan"period,the green area per capita is expected to reach 16 m² .
