Air Silk Road, Hub of the World
On March 7, 2013, the State Council approved the establishment of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (hereinafter referred to as ZAEZ), which is the only national-level pilot zone for aviation economic development approved by the State Council and the pilot zone of Zhengzhou-Luxemburg "Air Silk Road Pilot Zone". It is located in the golden triangle of Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Xuchang, and plays an important role in connecting the east with the west and connecting the south with the north. The actual jurisdiction area of ZAEZ reaches 747 square kilometers, the infrastructure covers more than 220 square kilometers, the built-up area exceeds 110 square kilometers, and the population in the area exceeds one million.
