On Aprl 15,2022,Henan Editorial Office issued document YB [2022]No.176 about integrating Henan Medical Information Research Institute,Henan Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Exchange Center,Henan Reproductive Health Science and Technology Research Institute,Henan Health Cadre Training Center,and Henan Academy of Medical Sciences to form a new Henan Academy of Innovations in Medical Science,with an insttutional size equivalent to that of a department level.It is a public welfare first class public institution with a designated staffing of 115.
2019
In 2019,Henan Editorial Office clarified that the functions of Henan Academy of Innovations in Medical Science were to carry out research on clinical medicine,basic medicine,and health related policies,participate in scientific and technological innovation,achievement specialization,and technology promotion in the field of health,and undertake the dally management work of key laboratories of Health Commission of Health Province.

Hennan Academy of Innovations in Medical Science was restored and reconstructed in 1980 with a career establishment of 360 people.And the Academy has long been responsible for the management of health research throughout the province,and is engaged in soft science research such as health policies.
